After 2 minutes of play, Ciudadela FC's Adrian Fenici made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Mattin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 6 minutes, Adrian Fenici made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. John Wick's Juan Mattin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 10 minutes of play, Ciudadela FC's Filiberto Herena made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Mattin was left in no man's land by his defense there! John Wick's Juan Mattin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Fenici in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ciudadela FC's Casimiro Gervaso got a free kick in the 13th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Adrian Fenici notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of John Wick's Juan Mattin. Juan Mattin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Juan Mattin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Gervaso in the 20th minute of the match. Silvio Navarro came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Isaac Paez could save by the left post. In the 27th minute Florentino Romo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Mattin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anselmo Urtungo hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 28 minutes in the game, Filiberto Herena dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Juan Mattin came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Ciudadela FC's Casimiro Gervaso. But to his dismay, Casimiro Gervaso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Fenici in the 41st minute of play forced John Wick's goalkeeper Juan Mattin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Anselmo Urtungo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Mattin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adrian Fenici went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-8.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filiberto Herena to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Ciudadela FC's Filiberto Herena dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. Ciudadela FC's Celedonio Manni pulled a muscle in his leg after 54 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Omar Omero's late challenge caught a Ciudadela FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Omar Omero helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ciudadela FC booed when John Wick was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Omero didn't get a good kick on the ball. John Wick's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Filiberto Herena scored to the left of an out of position Juan Mattin, making the score, 0-10. In the 60th minute, Adrian Fenici left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ciudadela FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-11. John Wick's Juan Mattin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Herena in the 64th minute of play. A collision led to John Wick getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Cosme Francis hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the game, Ciudadela FC's Adrian Fenici nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Mattin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-13. John Wick's Juan Mattin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save John Wick from getting a goal against them. Juan Mattin made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Adrian Fenici sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st minute, Ciudadela FC's Adrian Fenici ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Juan Mattin. Juan Mattin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-14. Adrian Fenici could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Juan Mattin made a huge save. Adrian Fenici took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juan Mattin. Juan Mattin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-15. Filiberto Herena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Juan Mattin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan Mattin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Herena, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Juan Mattin made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Adrian Fenici sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over Ciudadela FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than John Wick throughout the match.
