But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angel Petrigai couldn't finish the play. Amancio Tiadoro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Olimpiu Buligan made a huge save. After 8 played minutes Norton y Kaplan got a freekick which was hit by Florentino Loco. Francisco Dodorol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Ekaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Francisco Dodorol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Ekaitz in the 12th minute of play. After some careless play in the Norton y Kaplan defense, Moises Francesco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francisco Dodorol. The Norton y Kaplan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francisco Dodorol should have stopped the shot. Arnoldo Ekaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The wind increased when Angel Petrigai made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Norton y Kaplan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Bibiano to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Dodorol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Arnoldo Ekaitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Dodorol. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnoldo Ekaitz ran back to his position shaking his head. After 70 played minutes Norton y Kaplan got a freekick which was hit by Moises Bibiano. 73 minutes into the match, Norton y Kaplan's goalkeeper Francisco Dodorol had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnoldo Ekaitz. 80 minutes into the game, Moises Bibiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Norton y Kaplan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barrilete Cosmico the free kick. In the 80th minute, Moises Bibiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Dodorol made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Arnoldo Ekaitz sent off a good shot on target. Francisco Dodorol yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnoldo Ekaitz got free with Francisco Dodorol in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Norton y Kaplan fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Barrilete Cosmico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
