After 5 minutes, Cederik De Roost made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. DIO's Celestino Valiente tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. DIO's Celestino Valiente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cederik De Roost in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Cederik De Roost was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MAN FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DIO the free kick. The supporters of DIO booed when MAN FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cederik De Roost didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alain Prost recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of MAN FC booed when DIO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Indalecio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cederik De Roost received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Celestino Valiente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 25 minutes, Cederik De Roost made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. DIO's Celestino Valiente tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alain Prost struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Celestino Valiente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MAN FC. After 36 played minutes DIO got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Dominic. Celestino Valiente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alain Prost, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Alain Prost managed to get in a good position for a shot. MAN FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alain Prost was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celestino Valiente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benigno Platon hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eulalio Havier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Dalmacio Osorio notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of MAN FC's Godofredo Abella. Godofredo Abella was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Alain Prost came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the MAN FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alain Prost couldn't finish the play. 60 minutes into the match, Anastasio Gizon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celestino Valiente. DIO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anastasio Gizon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. If Alain Prost had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. MAN FC's Sturle Bjerkan was substituted for Cornelio Semeno. MAN FC made a substitution. Saverio Hurko replaced Alain Prost. In the 69th minute, one of DIO:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for DIO. DIO's Celestino Valiente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cederik De Roost in the 78th minute of play. Isaac Eleder's late challenge caught a MAN FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaac Eleder helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th match minute, DIO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Eleder to maneuver through the defense. Saverio Hurko in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Celestino Valiente, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cederik De Roost took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celestino Valiente. Celestino Valiente dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-9. MAN FC made a substitution. Marcelino Hug replaced Anastasio Gizon. Saverio Hurko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Valiente having to interfere. MAN FC's Cederik De Roost was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 90th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 93 played minutes DIO got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Guillen. Marcelino Hug took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Celestino Valiente. DIO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. MAN FC played a much better game than DIO and deserved their victory. The DIO players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
