With a little luck, Carnerillo's Rigoberto Ekialde got control of the ball when Armando Valerio tried to sneak it across the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Lanegan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Borre came free, but Eleuterio Madaleno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rigoberto Ekialde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Valerio in the 45th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Lanegan FC's Bernardino Blai got a free kick in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaudencio Orlo to make the kick off. In the 70th minute, Santos Borre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eleuterio Madaleno was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Lanegan FC's Genaro Resto got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Gaudencio Orlo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Carnerillo's Rigoberto Ekialde. Rigoberto Ekialde was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Genaro Resto kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Santos Borre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rigoberto Ekialde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Valerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santos Borre in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eleuterio Madaleno saved Lanegan FC from getting behind. Lucio Arnau charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucio Arnau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th match minute, Lanegan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Arnau to maneuver through the defense. Eleuterio Madaleno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Darien in the 92nd minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Carnerillo players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
