Spectators: 7446 (Terracing: 5586, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) After some careless play in the DIO defense, Celedonio Arias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celestino Valiente. The DIO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celestino Valiente should have stopped the shot. Melquiades Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Dalmacio Osorio managed to get in a good position for a shot. DIO's supporters rose to their feet, but Dalmacio Osorio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernan Mitxaut breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. DIO's Celestino Valiente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Batista in the 14th minute of play. If Celedonio Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melquiades Batista took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celestino Valiente. Celestino Valiente dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Eulalio Havier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 22 in the game by Dalmacio Osorio from a close distance when the talented Hernan Mitxaut managed to make a qualified save. Darregueira FC's players were relieved. Eulalio Havier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Hernan Mitxaut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Darregueira FC's Hernan Mitxaut got control of the ball when Dalmacio Osorio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th minute, Celedonio Arias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Darregueira FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. DIO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celedonio Arias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

If Celedonio Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th play minute Celedonio Arias came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Celestino Valiente. 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Eleder in the 63rd minute of play forced Darregueira FC's goalkeeper Hernan Mitxaut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Paolo Indalecio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DIO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Darregueira FC the free kick. After 70 minutes, Melquiades Batista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Darregueira FC and the DIO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Celestino Valiente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cecilio Gartzen fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Darregueira FC's protests and gave Cecilio Gartzen a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of DIO booed when Darregueira FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Gartzen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Darregueira FC's zone, Eulalio Havier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernan Mitxaut came out of the goal and Eulalio Havier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celestino Valiente came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Darregueira FC's Melquiades Batista. But to his dismay, Melquiades Batista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Darregueira FC's Celedonio Arias got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Melquiades Batista's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celestino Valiente was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Darregueira FC's Melquiades Batista managed to work through DIO's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Melquiades Batista dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 96th minute, Cecilio Gartzen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute Cleto Dominic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Mitxaut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Darregueira FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
