Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Roman Ilixo got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute, Roman Ilixo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Roman Ilixo came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Covunco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roman Ilixo couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florencio Montes during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Victor Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Sayveon in the 11th minute of play. Roman Ilixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Beila having to interfere. Victor Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Haritz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Florencio Montes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 31 minutes had been played. After 32 played minutes Real Académico De Fútbol got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Montes. The supporters of Real Académico De Fútbol booed when Covunco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Dalmau didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Roman Ilixo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Covunco's supporters rose to their feet, but Roman Ilixo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruben Beila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 43 played minutes Real Académico De Fútbol got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Chinto. After a rather tough play, Covunco's Prudencio Txerran got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Candido Haritz was the one to do the kick off. Roman Ilixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Real Académico De Fútbol's zone, Damaso Dalmau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruben Beila came out of the goal and Damaso Dalmau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Covunco's attentive Sebastian Gaizko managed to snatch the ball when Ildefonso Bihar made a throw-in in the 57th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Roman Ilixo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruben Beila was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. If Roman Ilixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Candido Haritz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Académico De Fútbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Candido Haritz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Santos came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Real Académico De Fútbol's Candido Haritz. But to his dismay, Candido Haritz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 88 minutes into the match, Candido Haritz notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Covunco's Victor Santos. Victor Santos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Roman Ilixo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruben Beila was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. The Real Académico De Fútbol players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Covunco from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
