Spectators: 7488 (Terracing: 5617, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Adrian Eneko kicked off to start the match. After having played for 5 minutes, Emilio Casomiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Argentino de San Carlos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilio Casomiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ruben Austin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Frantzes in the 11th minute of the match. The supporters of BURTON ALBION booed when Argentino de San Carlos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Paskal didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Jesus Tulio took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ruben Austin to make any attempt to save it. In the 25th minute, Melchor Uhin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Argentino de San Carlos's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Eneko came free, but Constantino Matei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rigoberto Cebrian's late challenge caught a Argentino de San Carlos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rigoberto Cebrian helped the player get up and apologised. Ruben Austin came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Argentino de San Carlos's Tadeo Berart. But to his dismay, Tadeo Berart quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 39 minutes into the match, Higinio Belasko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Constantino Matei. Argentino de San Carlos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Higinio Belasko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. BURTON ALBION's Ruben Austin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save BURTON ALBION from getting a goal against them.

The wind increased when Jesus Tulio made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Berart in the 51st minute of play forced BURTON ALBION's goalkeeper Ruben Austin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by BURTON ALBION's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jesus Tulio was slow to take the kick. During this time Argentino de San Carlos's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Emilio Casomiro drilling the ball in to score 4-1 behind BURTON ALBION's goalkeeper. Evelio Frantzes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Austin having to interfere. Ruben Austin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Berart in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute Evelio Frantzes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Austin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruben Austin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Tulio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Argentino de San Carlos's goalkeeper Constantino Matei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Higinio Belasko. If Jesus Tulio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 83rd minute Evelio Frantzes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Austin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Evelio Frantzes notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of BURTON ALBION's Ruben Austin. Ruben Austin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Argentino de San Carlos were the better team. Argentino de San Carlos's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
