Spectators: 7530 (Terracing: 5649, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aureliano Gorbea started the match with the kick off. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Filiberto Bermudo sped through Scylla A.F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Esteve Gomez. In the 9th minute, Doug Stanley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caprichosos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Filiberto Bermudo took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esteve Gomez. Esteve Gomez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filiberto Bermudo in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esteve Gomez saved Scylla A.F.C from getting behind. Esteve Gomez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Bermudo in the 18th minute of play. Antônio Carlos Ceresso kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Godofredo Gaztea struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Esteve Gomez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caprichosos FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Diego Armando Caniggia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caprichosos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Armando Caniggia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteve Gomez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Esteve Gomez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Bermudo in the 32nd minute of play. Arnulfo Millrick's late challenge caught a Caprichosos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnulfo Millrick helped the player get up and apologised. Arnulfo Millrick hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. When Caprichosos FC's Filiberto Bermudo in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Scylla A.F.C's goalie prevented a goal. In the 39th minute Filiberto Bermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Gomez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Jeremias Ferrando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Esteve Gomez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Bermudo in the 44th minute of the match. After 46 minutes of play, Caprichosos FC's Jeremias Ferrando made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Esteve Gomez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filiberto Bermudo to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Scylla A.F.C's goalkeeper Esteve Gomez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filiberto Bermudo. Scylla A.F.C:s Esteve Gomez showed great skill when he stopped Godofredo Gaztea:s penalty. In the 59th minute, Godofredo Gaztea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caprichosos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. In the 63rd match minute, Scylla A.F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Montez to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Jeremias Ferrando had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esteve Gomez. Scylla A.F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeremias Ferrando was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. If Doug Stanley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Jeremias Ferrando took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Esteve Gomez to make any attempt to save it. The Caprichosos FC fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Caprichosos FC's Filiberto Bermudo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Filiberto Bermudo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esteve Gomez having to make a save. In the 86th minute, Reynaldo Eleder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esteve Gomez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Ferrando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Scylla A.F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Filiberto Bermudo scored to the left of an out of position Esteve Gomez, making the score, 0-11. After a rather tough play, Scylla A.F.C's Arnulfo Millrick got a free kick in the 97th minute. Caprichosos FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
