Ruben Austin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Lorenz, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as El Torero's Hílton Salles slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ruben Austin. That made the score 4-0 after 28 minutes of play. 33 minutes into the match, Hílton Salles notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of BURTON ALBION's Ruben Austin. Ruben Austin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of El Torero booed when BURTON ALBION was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Rutenio didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adrian Eneko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hílton Salles in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Ruben Austin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ruben Austin came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by El Torero's Hílton Salles. But to his dismay, Hílton Salles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-0. In the 85thth minute of the game Segundo Acosta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BURTON ALBION's Ruben Austin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 88th minute Hílton Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Austin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hílton Salles charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hílton Salles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Carolo Lorenz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Lorenz in the 97th minute of play forced BURTON ALBION's goalkeeper Ruben Austin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. El Torero's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
