Joel Monte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Esteve Gomez made a huge save. In the 16th minute, Real Académico De Fútbol's Alejo Chinto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Candido Haritz got free with Esteve Gomez in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Scylla A.F.C's Aureliano Gorbea got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ruben Beila came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Scylla A.F.C's Aureliano Gorbea. But to his dismay, Aureliano Gorbea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Esteve Gomez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Chinto in the 28th minute of the match. Candido Haritz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esteve Gomez having to make a save. Aureliano Gorbea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ruben Beila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Scylla A.F.C booed when Real Académico De Fútbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Ignado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Scylla A.F.C's Arnulfo Millrick managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Zacarias Ignado in the 46 minute of the game. After the first half Scylla A.F.C were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Aureliano Gorbea made the kick off in the second half. Aureliano Gorbea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Ruben Beila when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Santos Aresti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Beila having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Real Académico De Fútbol's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Gorbea came free, but Ruben Beila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alejo Chinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Esteve Gomez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Aureliano Gorbea managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 89th minute, Aureliano Gorbea fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A collision led to Scylla A.F.C getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Aureliano Gorbea hit a great ball. The Real Académico De Fútbol fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Scylla A.F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
