Spectators: 7443 (Terracing: 5583, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nereo Gerazan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Central Cerro Monje defense, Edelmiro Stanislao kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Gaitan. The Central Cerro Monje fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Gaitan should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Edelmiro Stanislao managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nazca AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edelmiro Stanislao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Gaitan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute Benigno Isauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Gaitan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nereo Gerazan in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eloy Hats prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabio Gaitan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Isauro in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Central Cerro Monje's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Edelmiro Stanislao fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Benigno Isauro struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Fabio Gaitan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nazca AFC. 48 minutes into the match, Central Cerro Monje's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Isauro came free, but Fabio Gaitan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benigno Isauro made a kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Edelmiro Stanislao had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Gaitan. Central Cerro Monje's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edelmiro Stanislao was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2.
