Adan Rico was extremely unlucky when he, in the 15th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ambrosio Guerau who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Fabio Gaitan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fabio Gaitan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adan Rico in the 18th minute of play. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Ambrosio Guerau sped through Central Cerro Monje's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabio Gaitan. Adan Ricos short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Fabio Gaitan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Power Rangers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adan Rico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ambrosio Guerau who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Fabio Gaitan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 40th minute, The Power Rangers's Miguel Satordi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabio Gaitan. Fabio Gaitan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. After some careless play in the Central Cerro Monje defense, Ambrosio Guerau kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Gaitan. The Central Cerro Monje fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Gaitan should have stopped the shot.

The The Power Rangers fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when The Power Rangers's Adan Rico looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fabio Gaitan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adan Rico's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Victor Hugo Morales's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabio Gaitan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Fabio Gaitan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosio Guerau in the 79th minute of the match. Albano Ciano hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ambrosio Guerau in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Gaitan saved Central Cerro Monje from getting behind. 95 minutes into the match, The Power Rangers's goalkeeper Pete Schmeichel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nereo Gerazan.
