In the 7th minute, Clodoveo Manny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abel Ritchie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Gustau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abel Ritchie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Gustau in the 13th minute of play. When the match had been going on for 16 minutes, Deportivo Alberti's Sverker Fribäck got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Pete Schmeichel. Pete Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Cristofor in the 20th minute of play. After 22 minutes The Power Rangers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sverker Fribäck who took care of the corner kick. In the 24th minute, Deportivo Alberti's Raşit Uluman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pete Schmeichel. Pete Schmeichel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Gustau in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abel Ritchie saved Deportivo Alberti from getting behind. Miguel Satordi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abelardo Cristofor made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Deportivo Alberti's Raşit Uluman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pete Schmeichel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, Raşit Uluman notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of The Power Rangers's Pete Schmeichel. Pete Schmeichel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Power Rangers's Pete Schmeichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raşit Uluman in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute, The Power Rangers's Joaquin Nicholas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Abel Ritchie. Abel Ritchie yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Sverker Fribäck took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pete Schmeichel. The Power Rangers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Deportivo Alberti booed when The Power Rangers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorin Şteţ didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deportivo Alberti's Abel Ritchie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Alberti from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, The Power Rangers's Abel Ritchie threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Miguel Satordi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, The Power Rangers's Benedicto Natanael got a free kick in the 84th minute. Clodoveo Manny kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Miguel Satordi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Ritchie having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Deportivo Alberti were victorious despite being under pressure from The Power Rangers for much of the match.
