After a defensive mix-up in La Banda de la Quema's zone, Marciano Soin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Oriche came out of the goal and Marciano Soin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. La Banda de la Quema's Sergio Oriche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Soin in the 27th minute of play. After 31 minutes, Braulio Charro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Banda de la Quema and the Central Cerro Monje players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Central Cerro Monje's goalkeeper Fabio Gaitan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 41st minute Julian Sengrat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Gaitan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Nereo Gerazan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marciano Soin made a kick off. If Julian Sengrat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Domingo Gorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Gaitan having to interfere. Sergio Oriche came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Central Cerro Monje's Marciano Soin. But to his dismay, Marciano Soin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After having played for 78 minutes, Marciano Soin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Central Cerro Monje's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marciano Soin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Domingo Gorri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingo Gorri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Fabio Gaitan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Julian Sengrat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albano Ciano during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
