In the 6th minute of the match, Damaso Darien tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eliseo Manex saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 8 minutes in the game Sergio Senon did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Camilo Gonza. In the 8th minute, Evaristo Dominguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute, Gregorio Ortle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eliseo Manex didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 15th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Pikas's zone, Gregorio Ortle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Kismi came out of the goal and Gregorio Ortle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gaypón FC's Eliseo Manex played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Darien in the 21st minute of play. Ernesto Beturian made in the 24th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Federico Cefero. After a rather tough play, Pikas's Epifanio Atarrabi got a free kick in the 25th minute. Gaypón FC's Nestor Ofelio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 26th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pikas. Eliseo Manex made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Damaso Darien sent off a good shot on target. When Gaypón FC's Gregorio Ortle in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pikas's goalie prevented a goal. The referee showed Nestor Ofelio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Gaypón FC's Nestor Ofelio got a free kick in the 38th minute. After 40 played minutes Gaypón FC got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Claude. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gregorio Ortle made a kick off. Gregorio Ortle's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Alfredo Kismi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Enrique Pacifico took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Alfredo Kismi to make any attempt to save it. Eliseo Manex made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Darien in the 63rd minute of play. After 65 minutes of play, Pikas's Damaso Darien made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eliseo Manex was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 71st minute Gregorio Ortle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Kismi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damaso Darien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pikas's Alfredo Kismi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Pikas from getting a goal against them. Gregorio Ortle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cosme Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Eliseo Manex tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseo Manex showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Martino, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gregorio Ortle got free with Alfredo Kismi in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 93 minutes, Gregorio Ortle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gaypón FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregorio Ortle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gaypón FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
