After 26 minutes, Ildefonso Claude mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gaypón FC and the Pikas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Pikas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Darien to maneuver through the defense. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 89th minute, Gaypón FC's Narciso Abeijon seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Narciso Abeijon the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Gaypón FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Narciso Abeijon had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 95th minute, Cosme Barros reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eliseo Manex. The goal made the score 0-3. When the final whistle sounded Pikas left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gaypón FC.
