Spectators: 7490 (Terracing: 5618, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonides Manni started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Ladislao Behe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alejandro Rayman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 7 played minutes Fantasio FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Phelipe. Calvo's Marco Bartuelo got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Calvo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marco Bartuelo in the 13th minute. The corner ended in Marco Bartuelo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fantasio FC's Alejandro Rayman did a great save. Alejandro Rayman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Behe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejandro Rayman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Bartuelo in the 17th minute of the match. Fantasio FC's Alejandro Rayman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Behe in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute of the match Calvo got a corner. Fantasio FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marco Bartuelo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Calvo's Marco Bartuelo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alejandro Rayman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Bernardino Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Victoriano Farias fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fantasio FC's protests and gave Victoriano Farias a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Calvo booed when Fantasio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoriano Farias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Everardo Guerau was the one to do the kick off. When Bernardino Duarte came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Fantasio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardino Duarte couldn't finish the play. Alex Novais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everardo Guerau, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Marco Bartuelo struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Alejandro Rayman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calvo. In the 67th minute Bernardino Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Novais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardino Duarte took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Novais. Alex Novais dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After having played for 77 minutes, Leonides Manni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calvo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonides Manni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Calvo booed when Fantasio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Odilon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Calvo's Venancio Jaen got a free kick in the 89th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Calvo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fantasio FC.
