Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonides Manni started the match with the kick off. Alex Novais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Guerau in the 3rd minute of the match. Ladislao Behe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 5th match minute, Fantasio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Amaya to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Calvo booed when Fantasio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Kinsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Everardo Guerau fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fantasio FC's protests and gave Everardo Guerau a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Fantasio FC got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Guerau. Leonides Manni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Alejandro Rayman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeronimo Valiente charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeronimo Valiente the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Fantasio FC's Jeronimo Valiente got a free kick in the 16th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Marco Bartuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calvo's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Bartuelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejandro Rayman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the match, Calvo's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Guerau came free, but Alex Novais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 played minutes Fantasio FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeronimo Valiente. Leonides Manni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Leon Odilon fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fantasio FC's protests and gave Leon Odilon a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Fantasio FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Leon Odilon hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Fantasio FC's goalkeeper Alejandro Rayman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baldomero Ariando. Alejandro Rayman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonides Manni in the 42nd minute. 46 minutes into the match, Calvo's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Duarte came free, but Alex Novais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Everardo Guerau to strike the kick off in the second half. Bernardino Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Alex Novais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Calvo's Marco Bartuelo in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fantasio FC's goalie prevented a goal. Alex Novais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardino Duarte in the 57th minute of play. Bernardino Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marco Bartuelo might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alejandro Rayman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Bartuelo ran back to his position shaking his head. Alejandro Rayman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Bartuelo in the 63rd minute of the match. Ladislao Behe struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Alejandro Rayman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calvo. In the 67th minute, Marco Bartuelo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alejandro Rayman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Everardo Guerau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Novais having to interfere. After 75 played minutes Calvo got a freekick which was hit by Nicolás Capaldo. Alejandro Rayman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Behe in the 78th minute of play. In the 84th minute Ladislao Behe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Rayman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Leonides Manni fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calvo's protests and gave Leonides Manni a yellow card for diving instead. Marco Bartuelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Alejandro Rayman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fantasio FC's Alejandro Rayman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Manni in the 93rd minute of play. If Ladislao Behe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fantasio FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Calvo.
