Florencio Pirro kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. A collision led to Rossi FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Aristides Txema hit a great ball. Victor Pereyra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rossi FC's goalkeeper Hernan Salvator, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aristides Txema charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aristides Txema the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aristides Txema hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardo Justin in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hernan Salvator saved Rossi FC from getting behind. Victor Pereyra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geronimo Atauri hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After taking down the ball on Sorocayense FC's corner Zacarias Abajas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hernan Salvator quite easily take care of the ball. Leonides Llorenc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Godfredo Sanchez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sorocayense FC's Bernardo Justin in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rossi FC's goalie prevented a goal. Valentin Breogan kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Bernardo Justin might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hernan Salvator. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardo Justin ran back to his position shaking his head. After 47 played minutes Rossi FC got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Breogan. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardo Justin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aristides Txema got his second yellow card in the match during the 52nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Sorocayense FC booed when Rossi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Resto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonides Llorenc blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Godfredo Sanchez having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Victor Pereyra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sorocayense FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Pereyra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernan Salvator breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Leonides Llorenc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Pereyra got free with Hernan Salvator in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victor Pereyra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Hernan Salvator made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Victor Pereyra could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Hernan Salvator however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Rossi FC's zone, Bernardo Justin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernan Salvator came out of the goal and Bernardo Justin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernardo Justin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
