Ranquilcó AFC's Teobaldo Aztore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Munio in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Roronoa's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Bernaldo came free, but Zakarias Middleton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roronoa's Zakarias Middleton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Roronoa from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Ranquilcó AFC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Igor Teofilio hit a great ball. The Ranquilcó AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Roronoa were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Generoso Munio was the one to do the kick off. Teobaldo Aztore made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when David Urbasa sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Roronoa booed when Ranquilcó AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thorleif Liebst didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roronoa's Lorenzo Esiquio got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lorenzo Esiquio might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teobaldo Aztore. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lorenzo Esiquio ran back to his position shaking his head. After 60 played minutes Ranquilcó AFC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Gorri. In the 90thth minute of the game Lorenzo Esiquio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ranquilcó AFC's Teobaldo Aztore was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teobaldo Aztore made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Generoso Munio sent off a good shot on target.
