A collision led to Fantasio FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Tadeo Hermon hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Msaed Al Najdi in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alejandro Rayman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17thth minute of the game Eduardo Kinsen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ranquilcó AFC's Teobaldo Aztore was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fantasio FC were furious when Ovidio Amaya was red carded, 20 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, Fantasio FC's Ovidio Amaya got a free kick in the 21st minute. Ezequiel Bernaldo succeeded in the game's 22nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. 36 minutes into the match, Ranquilcó AFC's goalkeeper Teobaldo Aztore had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Everardo Guerau. Everardo Guerau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Teobaldo Aztore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, Fantasio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Hermon to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 42 minutes, Carlos Gorri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ranquilcó AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Gorri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Everardo Guerau to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Fantasio FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Eduardo Kinsen hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Anastasio Quintun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teobaldo Aztore didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Everardo Guerau went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After 73 played minutes Ranquilcó AFC got a freekick which was hit by Msaed Al Najdi. In the 74th minute, Jeronimo Valiente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute, Lech Mindykowski fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Alejandro Rayman, passed just outside the right post. 79 minutes into the game, Jeronimo Valiente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fantasio FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ranquilcó AFC the free kick. Ranquilcó AFC's Ezequiel Bernaldo got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Everardo Guerau struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Teobaldo Aztore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fantasio FC. The supporters of Ranquilcó AFC booed when Fantasio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Phelipe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Instead of passing the ball, Carlos Gorri made a really hard long shot towards goal. Fantasio FC's Alejandro Rayman realized he got lucky when he saw the ball passing the outside of the left post. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
