Alejandro Iturri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Pereyra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Eusebio Lizer came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Uriburu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusebio Lizer couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the match, Sorocayense FC's goalkeeper Godfredo Sanchez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonas Gonsalvo. In the 23rd minute, Florencio Pirro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sorocayense FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andres Juvenal in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Godfredo Sanchez saved Sorocayense FC from getting behind. Alejandro Iturri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Justin, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Candido Quintin took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alejandro Iturri. Alejandro Iturri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Alejandro Iturri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Justin, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

51 minutes into the game, Victor Pereyra lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Alejandro Iturri. After a rather tough play, Sorocayense FC's Florencio Pirro got a free kick in the 55th minute. Raimundo Ladio hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Sorocayense FC's Victor Pereyra got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Jonas Gonsalvo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alejandro Iturri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Justin in the 61st minute of the match. In the 65th minute Raimundo Ladio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Sanchez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Gonsalvo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Sanchez having to interfere. Zacarias Abajas kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Andres Juvenal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Godfredo Sanchez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonas Gonsalvo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Sanchez having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Uriburu's zone, Victor Pereyra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejandro Iturri came out of the goal and Victor Pereyra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Candido Quintin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. Sorocayense FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 84th match minute, Sorocayense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Quintin to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Uriburu's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Justin came free, but Alejandro Iturri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
