Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Tartalo started the match with the kick off. After 2 minutes of play, Fantasio FC's Everardo Guerau made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hernan Salvator was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hernan Salvator made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardino Duarte in the 6th minute of play. A collision led to Rossi FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Leonides Llorenc hit a great ball. In the 13th minute Bernardino Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Salvator saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Leon Odilon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ovidio Amaya hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 22nd match minute, Fantasio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Amaya to maneuver through the defense. Alejandro Rayman made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Leonides Llorenc sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Rossi FC booed when Fantasio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoriano Farias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alejandro Rayman came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Rossi FC's Albino Dacio. But to his dismay, Albino Dacio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Bernardino Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejandro Rayman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Tartalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edelmiro Ekain during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Rossi FC booed when Fantasio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Ekain didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fantasio FC's Everardo Guerau got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valentin Breogan charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Breogan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st match minute, Rossi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Breogan to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Everardo Guerau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fantasio FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Everardo Guerau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernan Salvator breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Everardo Guerau made a kick off. After some careless play in the Rossi FC defense, Everardo Guerau kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hernan Salvator. The Rossi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hernan Salvator should have stopped the shot. Valentin Breogan hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 1-3 became the score in the 61st minute when Bernardino Duarte elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Albino Dacio hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Bernardino Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Everardo Guerau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bernardino Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Fantasio FC's Hernan Salvator threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bernardino Duarte, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rossi FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bernardino Duarte was slow to take the kick. During this time Fantasio FC's players had a chance to rest. Hernan Salvator took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardino Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Rossi FC's zone, Everardo Guerau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernan Salvator came out of the goal and Everardo Guerau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernardino Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Everardo Guerau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, Fantasio FC's Everardo Guerau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hernan Salvator narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match was over Fantasio FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rossi FC throughout the match.
