Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gogo Vimaro took the kick off in the first half of the match. Betania's Nicasio Gudesteo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Tonio in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Vimaro in the 4th minute of play forced Betania's goalkeeper Nicasio Gudesteo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gogo Vimaro in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicasio Gudesteo saved Betania from getting behind. The Gryffindor Lions fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Gryffindor Lions's Gogo Vimaro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Eustacio Gaxan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicasio Gudesteo having to interfere. If Gogo Vimaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Deng Hong Ping fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gryffindor Lions's protests and gave Deng Hong Ping a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Betania booed when Gryffindor Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deng Hong Ping didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Betania's Benjamin Leheren got a free kick in the 16th minute. Eustacio Gaxan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Nicasio Gudesteo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gogo Vimaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Venancio Nahia fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Betania's protests and gave Venancio Nahia a yellow card for diving instead. After 21 played minutes Betania got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Nahia. Gogo Vimaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eustacio Gaxan scored 0-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicasio Gudesteo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Gryffindor Lions booed when Betania was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafin Honrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gogo Vimaro in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicasio Gudesteo saved Betania from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Gryffindor Lions's Deng Hong Ping got a free kick in the 37th minute. Nicasio Gudesteo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gogo Vimaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Manuel Tonio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gryffindor Lions's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Tonio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicasio Gudesteo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gogo Vimaro in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicasio Gudesteo saved Betania from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Gryffindor Lions's Froilan Astrada was substituted for Gogo Vimaro. Betania's Nicasio Gudesteo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Astrada in the 53rd minute of play. After 56 played minutes Betania got a freekick which was hit by Celso Mancio. Betania's Nicasio Gudesteo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Betania from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Astrada in the 68th minute of play forced Betania's goalkeeper Nicasio Gudesteo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicasio Gudesteo was a little too slow when Froilan Astrada got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-5. If Froilan Astrada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Betania's Nicasio Gudesteo got control of the ball when Froilan Astrada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Froilan Astrada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nicasio Gudesteo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Remigio, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
