In the 18th minute, Jerzy Haszczak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute of the match David Meringgi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eleuterio Fidensio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute, Jacobo Austin made a precise shot to the right of Eleuterio Fidensio. Berreta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Eric Connor kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After some careless play in the ARLO FC defense, Teodoro Nuñez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luis Santo. The ARLO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luis Santo should have stopped the shot. 35 minutes into the match, ARLO FC's goalkeeper Luis Santo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Caetano. Luis Santo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Bento, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 42 minutes Berreta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eric Connor who took care of the corner kick. Eric Connor made a great header on ARLO FC's corner, it was just that Berreta's Eleuterio Fidensio managed to reach the ball for a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mateo Mannuel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Berreta got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Vitin. Eleuterio Fidensio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacobo Austin in the 53rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mateo Mannuel in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luis Santo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 58 played minutes ARLO FC got a freekick which was hit by Eric Connor. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Berreta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eric Connor was slow to take the kick. During this time ARLO FC's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Segundo Vidal heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 64 minutes into the game, Mateo Mannuel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Luis Santo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Jacobo Austin came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the ARLO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacobo Austin couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Jacobo Austin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eleuterio Fidensio. That made the score 2-2 in the 68 minute of play. Teodoro Nuñez hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Luis Santo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateo Mannuel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerzy Haszczaks short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Eleuterio Fidensio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 86th match minute, Berreta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Caetano to maneuver through the defense. Berreta's Eleuterio Fidensio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerzy Haszczak in the 90th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacobo Austin got free with Eleuterio Fidensio in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
