Verdugos FC's Angel Francho quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Berreta:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Verdugos FC:s goal. In the 20thth minute of the game Mateo Mannuel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Verdugos FC's Higinio Burutzagi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Higinio Burutzagi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Cayo in the 23rd minute of play. When Aquiles Bento came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Berreta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquiles Bento couldn't finish the play. Alvaro Erasto struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Eleuterio Fidensio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Verdugos FC. Aquiles Bento scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Higinio Burutzagi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eleuterio Fidensio made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Angel Francho sent off a good shot on target. The Verdugos FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Berreta were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvaro Erasto to make the kick off. Higinio Burutzagi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mateo Mannuel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 52 minute of play. With a little luck, Verdugos FC's Higinio Burutzagi got control of the ball when Mateo Mannuel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Higinio Burutzagi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Nuñez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Higinio Burutzagi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Bento in the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute of the match, Aquiles Bento tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Higinio Burutzagi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mateo Mannuel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Higinio Burutzagi made a huge save. If Aquiles Bento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 minutes, Kiur Valter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Berreta and the Verdugos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kiur Valter kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Mateo Mannuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Burutzagi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Rafael Oro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aquiles Bento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Felix Caetano hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Berreta's Mateo Mannuel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Higinio Burutzagi. Higinio Burutzagi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Berreta's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
