Spectators: 7441 (Terracing: 5586, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Maximino Berto kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximino Berto in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Higinio Burutzagi saved Verdugos FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Fabricio Rivero got a free kick in the 5th minute. Emilio Oihenarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 9th minute, Angel Francho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Verdugos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Higinio Burutzagi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximino Berto went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Verdugos FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Alvaro Erasto hit a great ball. Tadeo Macerio hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Anastasio Pedroso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Erasto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Maximino Berto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angel Francho got free with Anastasio Pedroso in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Berto to maneuver through the defense. Anastasio Pedroso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tadeo Macerio in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Berto in the 42nd minute of play forced Verdugos FC's goalkeeper Higinio Burutzagi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th match minute, Verdugos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Francho to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alvaro Erasto was the one to do the kick off. Anastasio Pedroso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Erasto in the 62nd minute of play.
