Erubiel Veremundo was a little too slow when Carlos Manilan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 2-0. Octavio Claris hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th play minute Faustino Henric came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Erubiel Veremundo. 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Octavio Claris to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Octavio Claris got free with Cipriano Odilon in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, El Verdolaga's Cipriano Odilon got control of the ball when Octavio Claris tried to sneak it across the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. El Verdolaga had played much better football throughout.
