In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Torino Calcio's goalkeeper Eusebio Goizeder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Torino Calcio's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Nofre came free, but Eusebio Goizeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eusebio Goizeder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domingo Afonso in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eusebio Goizeder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 30 played minutes Torino Calcio got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Emenon. Eusebio Goizeder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Huly, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agustin Ondino went to the wrong direction when Gregorio Mikelats was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal.
