After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Ruperto Escobar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caiga Quien Caiga F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruperto Escobar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Bitxintxo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ruperto Escobar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruperto Escobar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Rayman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Eddy Gâteau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Bitxintxo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ruperto Escobar went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 22 minutes into the match, Caiga Quien Caiga F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Gau came free, but Eddy Gâteau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute La Academia were awarded a corner. Segundo Orlo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led La Academia's Segundo Orlo to fire away a dangerous shot which Eddy Gâteau despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Caiga Quien Caiga F.C's Romulo Hartz in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Academia's goalie prevented a goal. Caiga Quien Caiga F.C's Eddy Gâteau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Rayman in the 29th minute of play. When Romulo Hartz came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Caiga Quien Caiga F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romulo Hartz couldn't finish the play. When Norberto Leoncio fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Academia's protests and gave Norberto Leoncio a yellow card for diving instead. Norberto Leoncio kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. La Academia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Romulo Hartz scored to the left of an out of position Francisco Bitxintxo, making the score, 2-0. Eddy Gâteau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Mundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruperto Escobar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Caiga Quien Caiga F.C's Romulo Hartz in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Maximino Benvide's late challenge caught a La Academia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximino Benvide helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd minute, Romulo Hartz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Norberto Leoncio kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Jaime Harri took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Francisco Bitxintxo. La Academia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Caiga Quien Caiga F.C's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
