But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Idacio couldn't finish the play. Natalio Camerino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Birjaio in the 9th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Lorenzo Birjaio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natalio Camerino was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Lorenzo Birjaio took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Natalio Camerino. Game Theory Optimal's Natalio Camerino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Idacio in the 20th minute of play. Martin Idacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Camerino having to interfere. In the 24th match minute, Paikín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Birjaio to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Wilfredo Nafarroa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Everardo Rodas was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. 27 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Birjaio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Natalio Camerino. The Paikín fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Amancio Truylos's late challenge caught a Game Theory Optimal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. One of Paikín:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Game Theory Optimal:s goal. Natalio Camerino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Idacio, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute, Lorenzo Birjaio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paikín's Lorenzo Birjaio got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 48 minutes, Martin Idacio made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Game Theory Optimal's Natalio Camerino tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

After 71 minutes of play, Paikín's Alfredo Benvido made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Natalio Camerino was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 74th minute Lorenzo Birjaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Camerino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natalio Camerino made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Martin Idacio sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 86 minutes, Alfredo Benvido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paikín's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Benvido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, Martin Idacio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Natalio Camerino. The goal made the score 0-10. Game Theory Optimal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 98th minute, when Lorenzo Birjaio scored to the left of an out of position Natalio Camerino, making the score, 0-11.
