Oscar Telmo might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Placido Ortle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oscar Telmo ran back to his position shaking his head. Natalio Camerino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Iztal in the 12th minute of play. Game Theory Optimal's Natalio Camerino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Iztal in the 18th minute of play. Wilfredo Nafarroa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gogo Iztal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guaberto Urre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raul Romero hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The Game Theory Optimal fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Game Theory Optimal's Wilfredo Nafarroa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Guaberto Urre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Natalio Camerino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Wilfredo Nafarroa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Ortle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Faustino Ederono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Wilfredo Nafarroa put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Placido Ortle. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guaberto Urre to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55thth minute of the game Guaberto Urre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Game Theory Optimal's Natalio Camerino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Natalio Camerino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Urre in the 56th minute of the match. Guaberto Urre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Camerino having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Game Theory Optimal's zone, Gogo Iztal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Natalio Camerino came out of the goal and Gogo Iztal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gogo Iztal came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Natalio Camerino could save by the left post. After 67 minutes, Cosme Costante mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Game Theory Optimal and the Baldoseros FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Game Theory Optimal's Cosme Costante got a free kick in the 67th minute. The Game Theory Optimal fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Game Theory Optimal's Wilfredo Nafarroa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Game Theory Optimal's Oscar Telmo got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st match minute, Game Theory Optimal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Telmo to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Baldoseros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Telmo came free, but Placido Ortle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Guaberto Urre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 played minutes Baldoseros FC got a freekick which was hit by Guaberto Urre. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Wilfredo Nafarroa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Game Theory Optimal's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfredo Nafarroa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Placido Ortle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Game Theory Optimal fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when Game Theory Optimal's Wilfredo Nafarroa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Guaberto Urre was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 95th minute. Baldoseros FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Game Theory Optimal walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
