In the 10th minute, Tiburcio Gonzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Salinas FC's zone, Oscar Azibar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulino Maule came out of the goal and Oscar Azibar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tiburcio Gonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Oscar Azibar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Deportivo Ludovico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 25th minute, Tiburcio Gonzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elvio Lohitzun charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elvio Lohitzun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paulino Maule didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tiburcio Gonzo went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 31st minute Tiburcio Gonzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Maule saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Oscar Azibar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Salinas FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Donato Pirmin was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Deportivo Ludovico's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Club Deportivo Ludovico's Donato Pirmin to fire away a dangerous shot which Paulino Maule despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Oscar Azibar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Paulino Maule made a huge save. Tiburcio Gonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Ludovico's Oscar Azibar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulino Maule narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Tiburcio Gonzo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulino Maule was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Oscar Azibar might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulino Maule. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oscar Azibar ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaudencio Nazario was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Club Deportivo Ludovico's Tiburcio Gonzo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulino Maule made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Tiburcio Gonzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Ludovico's goalkeeper Orlando Segio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laureano Henry. 63 minutes into the game, Club Deportivo Ludovico's Oscar Azibar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulino Maule made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. In the 66th minute, Ambrosio Frasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Oscar Azibar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulino Maule was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Paulino Maule stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Azibar's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Tiburcio Gonzo took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulino Maule. Paulino Maule dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Oscar Azibar struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Paulino Maule didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Deportivo Ludovico. Oscar Azibar struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. In the 85th minute, Tiburcio Gonzo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulino Maule was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. When Tiburcio Gonzo came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Club Deportivo Ludovico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiburcio Gonzo couldn't finish the play. Paulino Maule made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Azibar in the 94th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Club Deportivo Ludovico had played much better football throughout.
