Marcos Bermudez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Henry in the 32nd minute of the match. When Niceto Remicio fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mainque AFC's protests and gave Niceto Remicio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd match minute, Mainque AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Remicio to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute Gaudencio Nazario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Bermudez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Cordarrell kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Salinas FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
