Tobias Cordeara came out of the goal and Luciano Rivas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tobias Cordeara made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Luciano Rivas sent off a good shot on target. If Luciano Leguizamón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Sebalito's Casimiro Celipe slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tobias Cordeara. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. If Casimiro Celipe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Papagayos AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sebalito the free kick. A collision led to Papagayos AFC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Celipe in the 22nd minute of play forced Papagayos AFC's goalkeeper Tobias Cordeara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luciano Rivas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Tobias Cordeara made a huge save. Francisco Weather's late challenge caught a Sebalito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 51st minute, one of Papagayos AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Papagayos AFC. In the 54th minute there was a penalty for Sebalito. Gaudencio Chano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tobias Cordeara. 2-1. Luciano Rivas kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. If Anacleto Reyes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute.
