The supporters of Aguirres booed when Millonarioneuquino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Paez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd match minute, Aguirres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorian Moraes to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Millonarioneuquino's zone, Apolo Paez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marciano Beliran came out of the goal and Apolo Paez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the match, Millonarioneuquino's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Granberg came free, but Marciano Beliran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Aguirres were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Pastor Urtsin made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Millonarioneuquino's Marciano Beliran got control of the ball when Wendell Conn tried to sneak it across the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Dorian Moraes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marciano Beliran. Millonarioneuquino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dorian Moraes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Melquiades Unax charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melquiades Unax the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Melquiades Unax kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the game, Dorian Moraes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Marciano Beliran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Apolo Paez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 67 minutes into the game, Apolo Paez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marciano Beliran. Apolo Paez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. Aguirres's Timoteo Chico was substituted for Wendell Conn. After 72 minutes, Dorian Moraes made it 0-10 with a short kick to the right side. Millonarioneuquino's Marciano Beliran tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Iker Nazario succeeded in the game's 75th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-11. Severino Ihazintu hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Miro Rohrer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pastor Urtsin's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. After some careless play in the Millonarioneuquino defense, Severino Ihazintu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marciano Beliran. The Millonarioneuquino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marciano Beliran should have stopped the shot. In the 91st match minute, Millonarioneuquino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Urtsin to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Iker Nazario notched a goal, 0-14, to the right of Millonarioneuquino's Marciano Beliran. Marciano Beliran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
