Millonarioneuquino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RB Palazzo the free kick. In the 4th minute, Arnulfo Karmel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RB Palazzo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of RB Palazzo booed when Millonarioneuquino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Unax didn't get a good kick on the ball. Siro Txomin might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marciano Beliran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Siro Txomin ran back to his position shaking his head. Marciano Beliran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnulfo Karmel in the 13th minute of the match. The supporters of RB Palazzo booed when Millonarioneuquino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Paez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind RB Palazzo's goalkeeper Fausto Bernaldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Miguel Igon hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Freddy Transito's late challenge caught a Millonarioneuquino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddy Transito helped the player get up and apologised. Pastor Urtsin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Bernaldo having to interfere. Marciano Beliran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Etxekopar in the 23rd minute of the match. Fabricio Herrera kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Siro Txomin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marciano Beliran was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Millonarioneuquino's Pastor Urtsin in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RB Palazzo's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Fabricio Herrera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Millonarioneuquino's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabricio Herrera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Bernaldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pastor Urtsin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 45th minute of the match Tomas Izel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fausto Bernaldo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 47th minute, Miguel Igon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pastor Urtsin was the one to do the kick off. Fabricio Herrera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, Paolo Aurken left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RB Palazzo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Urtsin in the 64th minute of play forced RB Palazzo's goalkeeper Fausto Bernaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabricio Herrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marciano Beliran was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Paolo Aurken capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paolo Aurken really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Marciano Beliran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Aurken in the 73rd minute of play. After 80 played minutes RB Palazzo got a freekick which was hit by Siro Txomin. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pastor Urtsin during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Millonarioneuquino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Urtsin to maneuver through the defense. Fausto Bernaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Urtsin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in RB Palazzo's zone, Fabricio Herrera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fausto Bernaldo came out of the goal and Fabricio Herrera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
