In the 3rd minute, Aguirres's Apolo Paez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Felipe Laincera hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Marcos Manny put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Miro Rohrer. With a little luck, Viento Patagonico F.C.'s Abelardo Bilbo got control of the ball when Severino Ihazintu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 16 minutes, Juan Manuel Casanueva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viento Patagonico F.C. and the Aguirres players grew even worse after the yellow card. Juan Manuel Casanueva hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. A collision led to Aguirres getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Dorian Moraes hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Viento Patagonico F.C.'s Pedro Behe got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Severino Ihazintu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Juan Manuel Casanueva hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. If Apolo Paez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Ihazintu in the 30th minute of play forced Viento Patagonico F.C.'s goalkeeper Abelardo Bilbo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Wendell Conn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miro Rohrer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcos Manny's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. After 34 minutes Aguirres's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Juan Manuel Casanueva who took care of the corner kick. Claudio Guillen kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 2-1 became the score in the 37th minute when Apolo Paez elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Dorian Moraes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abelardo Bilbo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Viento Patagonico F.C.'s Abelardo Bilbo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Viento Patagonico F.C. from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcos Manny to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Viento Patagonico F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Wendell Conn came free, but Abelardo Bilbo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viento Patagonico F.C.'s Abelardo Bilbo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Ihazintu in the 55th minute of play. Abelardo Bilbo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorian Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Abelardo Bilbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorian Moraes in the 58th minute of play. In the 66th minute Dorian Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Bilbo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Viento Patagonico F.C. booed when Aguirres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Laincera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aguirres's Iker Nazario was substituted for Apolo Paez. In the 70th minute Wendell Conn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Bilbo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abelardo Bilbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wendell Conn in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Claudio Guillen fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 74 minutes into the game, Aguirres's Dorian Moraes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abelardo Bilbo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. After 83 minutes of play, Viento Patagonico F.C.'s Florentino Txindoki made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miro Rohrer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedro Behe's late challenge caught a Aguirres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Behe helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of Viento Patagonico F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Aguirres:s goal. Abelardo Bilbo had in the 87thth minute some difficulties stopping Severino Ihazintu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Aguirres were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Viento Patagonico F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Severino Ihazintu took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Severino Ihazintu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Abelardo Bilbo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 92nd minute, Marcos Manny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd match minute, Aguirres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorian Moraes to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Aguirres's goalkeeper Miro Rohrer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudio Guillen. When the referee ended the match the Aguirres players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
