In the 2nd minute, Romulo Arano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute Virgilio Iruinea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Tiniebra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Legionarios's goal looked a bit too open when Hannes Kruusimaa came free, but Marcelo Tiniebra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Tiniebra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hannes Kruusimaa in the 13th minute of play. Marcelo Tiniebra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Paul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Legionarios's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Iruinea came free, but Marcelo Tiniebra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Nacate's Marcelo Tiniebra threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hannes Kruusimaa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 24th match minute, Nacate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Matei to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the game, Nacate's Higinio Paul nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelo Tiniebra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Marcelo Tiniebra came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Nacate's Higinio Paul. But to his dismay, Higinio Paul quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 33rd minute, Nacate's Hannes Kruusimaa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcelo Tiniebra. Marcelo Tiniebra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Hannes Kruusimaa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Marcelo Tiniebra made a huge save. Marcelo Tiniebra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hannes Kruusimaa in the 38th minute of the match. Higinio Paul received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcelo Tiniebra came out and tried to block the shot, but Higinio Paul slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 39th minute. Carlos Mino took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fermin Veremundo. Fermin Veremundo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Higinio Paul made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Higinio Paul's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelo Tiniebra was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 54th minute, Higinio Paul made a precise shot to the right of Marcelo Tiniebra. Legionarios's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. 59 minutes into the match, Eustacio Matei had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelo Tiniebra. Legionarios's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eustacio Matei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. 61 minutes into the match, Legionarios's goal looked a bit too open when Hannes Kruusimaa came free, but Marcelo Tiniebra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Nacate were the better team. Nacate's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
