Millonarioneuquino's Nestor Llanos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gustavo Bide in the 4 minute of the game. Carlos Belasko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Miro Rohrer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute of the match Severino Ihazintu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marciano Beliran skillfully saved the ball. Marciano Beliran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iker Nazario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Wendell Conn reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marciano Beliran. The goal made the score 2-0. If Bernardino Tulio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Dorian Moraes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aguirres fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Millonarioneuquino's zone, Dorian Moraes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marciano Beliran came out of the goal and Dorian Moraes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Dorian Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aguirres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dorian Moraes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorian Moraes got free with Marciano Beliran in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marciano Beliran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iker Nazario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wendell Conn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Severino Ihazintu in the 56th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Millonarioneuquino's Romulo Galtero. 58 minutes into the game, Aguirres's Dorian Moraes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marciano Beliran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 61st minute, Dorian Moraes made a precise shot to the right of Marciano Beliran. Millonarioneuquino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. 64 minutes into the match, Dorian Moraes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marciano Beliran. Millonarioneuquino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dorian Moraes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. After 67 minutes, Melquiades Unax mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Millonarioneuquino and the Aguirres players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Aguirres booed when Millonarioneuquino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Unax didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Millonarioneuquino defense, Wendell Conn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marciano Beliran. The Millonarioneuquino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marciano Beliran should have stopped the shot. Aguirres made a substitution. Timoteo Chico replaced Iker Nazario. Felipe Laincera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Beliran having to interfere. Gustavo Bide made in the 81st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Millonarioneuquino's Nestor Llanos. After 81 played minutes Aguirres got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Bide. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Millonarioneuquino's goalkeeper Marciano Beliran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 87 minutes, Wendell Conn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aguirres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wendell Conn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 88 minutes into the game, Aguirres's Timoteo Chico nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marciano Beliran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. Dorian Moraes took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marciano Beliran. Marciano Beliran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0. Marciano Beliran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wendell Conn in the 96th minute of play. Aguirres's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
