But to his dismay, Saturnino Mannie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusebio Rocendo got free with Pedro Honesto in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gil AFC's Saturnino Iigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Gabino in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute of the match, Hipolito Artizar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pedro Honesto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice moves Israel Txartiko could shoot a difficult shot in the 38th minute, which Pedro Honesto however easily saved by the left post. Eusebio Rocendo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Pedro Honesto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Gabino in the 41st minute of play forced Gil AFC's goalkeeper Saturnino Iigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Gabino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hernan Cordarell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Iigo having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eusebio Rocendo was the one to do the kick off. S4dm F.C.'s Pedro Honesto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Artizar in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gil AFC's Fausto Lauaxeta got a free kick in the 54th minute. Israel Txartiko scored 2-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Honesto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th minute Israel Txartiko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Honesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Honesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Rocendo in the 67th minute of play. Bruno Gabino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Gabino was extremely unlucky when he, in the 73rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Israel Txartiko charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Israel Txartiko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Israel Txartiko hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Saturnino Iigo was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Bruno Gabino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bruno Gabino really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. After 84 played minutes Gil AFC got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Rocendo. After 85 played minutes Gil AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Lauaxeta. Pedro Honesto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebio Rocendo in the 89th minute of the match. A hard shot 91 in the game by Bruno Gabino from a close distance when the talented Saturnino Iigo managed to make a qualified save. Gil AFC's players were relieved. Israel Txartiko kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Eugenio Vito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saturnino Iigo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Gabino in the 94th minute of play forced Gil AFC's goalkeeper Saturnino Iigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bruno Gabino came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the S4dm F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Gabino couldn't finish the play. S4dm F.C. were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
