The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sidney Albuquerque took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gavino Kaxen. Gavino Kaxen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Sidney Albuquerque managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rawson FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sidney Albuquerque was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gavino Kaxen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christian Birjaio struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Gavino Kaxen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rawson FC. Mauricio Laurentzi charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 32nd minute, Rawson FC's Sidney Albuquerque dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavinho Motta got free with Gavino Kaxen in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sidney Albuquerque received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gavino Kaxen came out and tried to block the shot, but Sidney Albuquerque slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 37th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavinho Motta in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gavino Kaxen saved Olimpo FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavinho Motta in the 41st minute of play forced Olimpo FC's goalkeeper Gavino Kaxen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gavino Kaxen made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Christian Birjaio sent off a good shot on target. Sidney Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Gavino Kaxen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Wilfredo Mitxaut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Kaxen having to interfere. In the 83rd minute of the match Rawson FC got a corner. Olimpo FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lorenzo Eusko ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Lorenzo Eusko got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gavino Kaxen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Leonel Eskuin kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Olimpo FC defense, Flavinho Motta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gavino Kaxen. The Olimpo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gavino Kaxen should have stopped the shot. Sidney Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
