Cleto Iturri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Ibar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Aquiles Mino came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Brown's Hilario Bembe. But to his dismay, Hilario Bembe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Alfredo Asur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Aquiles Mino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hilario Bembe in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aquiles Mino saved Boca FC from getting behind. After 28 minutes, Fabricio Benvide mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boca FC and the Club Atlético Brown players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th minute, Hilario Bembe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Boca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hilario Bembe came free, but Aquiles Mino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Boca FC defense, Dante Pabla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aquiles Mino. The Boca FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aquiles Mino should have stopped the shot. After 43 played minutes Boca FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Arnau. After the first half Club Atlético Brown were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

54 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Brown's Hilario Bembe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aquiles Mino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. In the 59th minute, Hilario Bembe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aquiles Mino was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hilario Bembe got free with Aquiles Mino in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Club Atlético Brown's supporters rose to their feet, but Hilario Bembe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquiles Mino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aquiles Mino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilario Bembe in the 77th minute of the match. Aquiles Mino made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Hilario Bembe sent off a good shot on target. Hilario Bembe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Aquiles Mino when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Club Atlético Brown's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
