Florentino Haimar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Leluțiu in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Angelo Frisco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los PicaPiedras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletic Villa Belgrano the free kick. In the 16th match minute, Los PicaPiedras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Frisco to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Atletic Villa Belgrano booed when Los PicaPiedras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiro Pio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saverio Urko came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Los PicaPiedras's Vladimiro Pio. But to his dismay, Vladimiro Pio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Vladimiro Pio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saverio Urko having to interfere. Vladimiro Pio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Saverio Urko made a huge save. In the 33rd minute, Los PicaPiedras's Angelo Frisco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. 38 minutes into the match, Andrei Leluțiu notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Los PicaPiedras's Florentino Haimar. Florentino Haimar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Atletic Villa Belgrano:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Los PicaPiedras:s goal. When the match had been going on for 45 minutes, Los PicaPiedras's Siro Bitxintxo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Saverio Urko. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Isidro Giraldo made the kick off in the second half. Saverio Urko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isidro Giraldo's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Florentino Haimar came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletic Villa Belgrano's Andrei Leluțiu. But to his dismay, Andrei Leluțiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. Florentino Haimar didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Atletic Villa Belgrano's Andrei Leluțiu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-4 in the ordered_time% minute. Wictor Björkkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saverio Urko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Giraldo in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Atletic Villa Belgrano's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Pio came free, but Saverio Urko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrei Leluțiu got in the 73rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Florentino Haimar handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. If Andrei Leluțiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmacio Munio in the 78th minute of play forced Atletic Villa Belgrano's goalkeeper Saverio Urko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Atletic Villa Belgrano getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Candido Ferrando hit a great ball. In the 80th minute of the match Siro Bitxintxo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Saverio Urko skillfully saved the ball. In the 81st minute, Vladimiro Pio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Saverio Urko came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Los PicaPiedras's Isidro Giraldo. But to his dismay, Isidro Giraldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-4. Atletic Villa Belgrano's Sivert Ingemarsson suffered a sore knee after 93 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 93 minutes, Fabio Bieito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los PicaPiedras and the Atletic Villa Belgrano players grew even worse after the yellow card. Los PicaPiedras's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
