The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes of play, Velezcamp's Hernan Lehoi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. CAJURA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Velezcamp the free kick. In the 6th match minute, CAJURA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Santikurtz to maneuver through the defense. Arnulfo Elequemedo was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Sergio Aguero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sergio Aguero really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. CAJURA's Silvestre Favila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Lehoi in the 20th minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Aaron Oliverio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CAJURA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Velezcamp the free kick. The supporters of Velezcamp booed when CAJURA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Oliverio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Andres Irrintzi made a precise shot to the right of Silvestre Favila. CAJURA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. When Guillermo Naelio fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CAJURA's protests and gave Guillermo Naelio a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes CAJURA got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Naelio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Pierres in the 31st minute of play forced CAJURA's goalkeeper Silvestre Favila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Placido Santikurtz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 37 minutes into the match. After 37 played minutes CAJURA got a freekick which was hit by Placido Santikurtz. Guillermo Naelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Elequemedo having to interfere. In the 45th minute Hernan Lehoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Favila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hernan Lehoi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Andres Irrintzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvestre Favila. CAJURA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andres Irrintzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Gaston Quin hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute of the match Jeremias Eudoxio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvestre Favila skillfully saved the ball. Artemio Pierres struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Silvestre Favila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Velezcamp. Maximino Bartolome scored 3-4 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnulfo Elequemedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Silvestre Favila was a little too slow when Andres Irrintzi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 3-5. CAJURA made a substitution. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Lidon in the 89th minute of play forced Velezcamp's goalkeeper Arnulfo Elequemedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Velezcamp's Hernan Lehoi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Silvestre Favila. That made the score 3-6 after 92 minutes of play. If Guillermo Naelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match was over Velezcamp could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CAJURA throughout the match.
