Nardo Zalaca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Evarado in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, Balantain's Fermin Jordy got a free kick in the 27th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vilhelm Anundsson during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Theo Jonsson missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 44 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Nardo Zalaca right hand side. In the 45th match minute, Balantain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theo Jonsson to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the game, Aristides Rameriz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Balantain's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A.Comodoro Rivadavia the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of Balantain:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of C.A.Comodoro Rivadavia:s goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Haroldo Otoniel to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Otoniel in the 57th minute of play forced Balantain's goalkeeper 宋思霖 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Felipe Alfonso managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A.Comodoro Rivadavia's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipe Alfonso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 宋思霖 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
