Reynaldo Barrionuevo came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Anguilan's Luciano Breckenfeld. But to his dismay, Luciano Breckenfeld quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 7th minute, Remigio Mingo made a precise shot to the right of Reynaldo Barrionuevo. Moretti Fútbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, Moretti Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Federigo came free, but Reynaldo Barrionuevo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermengildo Tomi might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tobias Txaran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermengildo Tomi ran back to his position shaking his head. 20 minutes into the game, Omar Federigo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anguilan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moretti Fútbol Club the free kick. After a rather tough play, Anguilan's Omar Federigo got a free kick in the 20th minute. Hermengildo Tomi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Tobias Txaran made a huge save. Moretti Fútbol Club's Gervasio Ferrer suffered a concussion after 33 minutes and had to leave the field. When Luciano Breckenfeld fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anguilan's protests and gave Luciano Breckenfeld a yellow card for diving instead. Reynaldo Barrionuevo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabio Bergomi went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Luciano Breckenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Reynaldo Barrionuevo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 minutes of play, Anguilan's Fabio Bergomi made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reynaldo Barrionuevo was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabio Bergomi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Reynaldo Barrionuevo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Bergomi in the 56th minute of the match. Tobias Txaran came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Moretti Fútbol Club's Edgard Bero. But to his dismay, Edgard Bero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Atilano Txerran struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Tobias Txaran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moretti Fútbol Club. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Tomi in the 64th minute of play forced Anguilan's goalkeeper Tobias Txaran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reynaldo Barrionuevo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Bergomi, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Omar Federigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Reynaldo Barrionuevo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tobias Txaran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Tomi in the 70th minute of the match. Reynaldo Barrionuevo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabio Bergomi's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Moretti Fútbol Club's Reynaldo Barrionuevo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Federigo in the 78th minute of play. Esteve Mouricio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Tobias Txaran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Esteve Mouricio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moretti Fútbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteve Mouricio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Txaran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Esteve Mouricio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Txaran having to interfere. Fabio Bergomi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Barrionuevo having to interfere. Reynaldo Barrionuevo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Federigo in the 87th minute of the match. If Hermengildo Tomi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the game, Luciano Breckenfeld cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Reynaldo Barrionuevo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 98th match minute, Moretti Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilano Txerran to maneuver through the defense. Anguilan's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
