After a rather tough play, LIONS's Loco Flush got a free kick in the 13th minute. With a little luck, LIONS's Fabian Marz got control of the ball when Onofre Covarrubias tried to sneak it across the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Paulo Odol sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Fabian Marz threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Paulo Odol this time. Orbay Ergener showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Montrelle, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. If Genaro Padro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Piñeyro's Orbay Ergener played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Vettel in the 38th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in LIONS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! LIONS:s Fabian Marz showed great skill when he stopped Paulo Odol:s penalty. In the 46th minute Sebastian Vettel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orbay Ergener saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Onofre Covarrubias to make the kick off. Onofre Covarrubias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabian Marz having to make a save. Orbay Ergener made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Montrelle in the 74th minute of play. After 75 minutes of play, Piñeyro's Sebastiaan Gavilanes made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabian Marz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Genaro Padro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Fabian Marz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Piñeyro fully deserved thier win.
