An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Ferrer in the 5th minute of play forced Caluva FC's goalkeeper Segundo Aureo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Caluva FC's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Mouricio came free, but Segundo Aureo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Esteve Mouricio in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Segundo Aureo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fidel Elazar got free with Reynaldo Barrionuevo in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfonso Pinto during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Moretti Fútbol Club's Alfonso Pinto got a free kick in the 13th minute. Reynaldo Barrionuevo made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Fidel Elazar sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute Esteve Mouricio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Segundo Aureo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteve Mouricio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hermengildo Tomi in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Segundo Aureo saved Caluva FC from getting behind. When Fidel Elazar came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Caluva FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidel Elazar couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Caluva FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Prudencio Jaunzuria hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Tomi in the 42nd minute of play forced Caluva FC's goalkeeper Segundo Aureo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prudencio Jaunzuria kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Caluva FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dario Lugo was slow to take the kick. During this time Moretti Fútbol Club's players had a chance to rest. Ceferino Amaya charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ceferino Amaya the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 47 minutes into the game, one of Caluva FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Caluva FC:s Segundo Aureo showed great skill when he stopped Dario Lugo:s penalty. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esteve Mouricio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gervasio Ferrer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Segundo Aureo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Caluva FC's zone, Gervasio Ferrer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Segundo Aureo came out of the goal and Gervasio Ferrer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58thth minute of the game Esteve Mouricio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caluva FC's Segundo Aureo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Gervasio Ferrer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Segundo Aureo was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Caluva FC's Ceferino Amaya got his second yellow card of the match in the 61st minute. The referee ordered Ceferino Amaya off the ground. Eloy Seme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Esteve Mouricio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Segundo Aureo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 84th match minute, Moretti Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Ferrer to maneuver through the defense. Moretti Fútbol Club's Reynaldo Barrionuevo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Elazar in the 86th minute of play. Esteve Mouricio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Segundo Aureo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esteve Pes kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match.
