Onofre Covarrubias started the match with the kick off. Juan Carlos Olave made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Padro in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Piñeyro's Omar Restu got a free kick in the 14th minute. Orbay Ergener showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Mazuste, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Herminio Incendio hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Piñeyro's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Mazuste came free, but Orbay Ergener reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bonifacio Mazuste took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Orbay Ergener. Orbay Ergener dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0.

In the 54th minute, Onofre Covarrubias reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Juan Carlos Olave. The goal made the score 2-1. When Bonifacio Mazuste came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the JERE F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bonifacio Mazuste couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Sebastiaan Gavilanes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Juan Carlos Olave. That made the score 2-2 in the 66 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Bonifacio Mazuste managed to get in a good position for a shot. JERE F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Bonifacio Mazuste was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orbay Ergener breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to JERE F.C. getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Alfredo Maule hit a great ball. Orbay Ergener took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifacio Mazuste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 96 played minutes Piñeyro got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Rito. Bonifacio Mazuste blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orbay Ergener having to make a save. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
